The Tulsa Twisters completed the 2nd game of a tough weekend of ABA basketball against the Kyle Stallions in Kyle, Texas. Tulsa opened the 1st half with a commanding lead against the Stallions, going into halftime with a 44-40 lead. After halftime the Stallions, who proved ready for the Twisters during the 2nd half fought back and finished the contest with a score of 120-84. Tulsa was lead by Dante' Wartson who finished with 23 points, Devin Boyd's 17 points and Tony Heard who closed with 13 points. The Twisters are back in action on January 7th in Laredo, TX playing the Laredo Swarm, and on Sunday, January 8th in Killeen, TX playing the Texas Sky Riders.

The Tulsa Twisters opened the season against the Austin Bats in their first double header weekend road game of the season and came up short 102-87. Lead by Dante' Wartson with 20 points the Twisters battled back from a 18 point deficit to close the lead to 9 points but the Bats battled back and handed the Tulsa Twisters their first lost since Jan 7, 2016. The Twisters were also lead by Lex Desir with 19 points, Tony Heard with 14 points and De'Von Bailey with 10. The Bats were lead by Terrance Cato with a game high 27 points. |
